App: Flash Alerts

Flash Alerts respects user privacy. This app is designed to provide flashlight alerts for incoming calls, SMS app notifications, and selected app notifications directly on the user's device.

1. Information We Access

The app may request access to:

• Camera or torch access, to allow the app to control the phone flashlight for alerts and manual torch actions
• Phone state access, to detect incoming calls for call flash alerts
• Notification access and installed app information, to detect notifications from selected apps and show app names, package names, and icons in the notification app selection list
• Notification posting access, to show an optional status notification for active call, SMS, and notification alert settings

2. Information We Store

The app may store the following information locally on the user's device:

• Flash alert preferences such as call alerts, combined SMS and notification alerts, blink speed, flash duration, and flash behavior
• Selected and pinned notification app package names used for notification flash alerts and app list ordering
• Basic app preferences such as dark theme, silent mode, vibrate mode, turn-off schedule, screen-on protection, and low battery protection
• Ad-related state, such as the ad-hidden end time and ad trigger counts, to keep the ad experience consistent after restarting the app

This information is stored locally to support app functionality and convenience.

3. Information We Do Not Collect

At the current stage of the app, Flash Alerts does not require account creation and does not intentionally collect personal information such as:

• Name
• Email address
• Phone number
• Precise location
• Payment information

The app is not designed as a social platform and does not provide public posting, public profiles, or public user content sharing.

4. How Data Is Used

Any locally stored data is used only to provide app features, including:

• Enabling flashlight alerts for incoming calls
• Enabling flashlight alerts for notifications from selected apps
• Restoring selected flash alert preferences after reopening the app
• Supporting manual torch control and flash preview behavior
• Showing an optional local status notification for active call, SMS, and notification alert modes
• Showing ads and maintaining ad frequency, rewarded ad timing, and temporary ad-hidden periods

5. Data Sharing

Flash Alerts does not sell user data.

The app does not intentionally share personal data with third parties except where required to support core platform behavior or app functionality, such as:

• Operating system permission handling
• User-initiated sharing actions using installed device apps
• Android system services needed for call, notification, torch, and status notification behavior
• Advertising services provided by Google AdMob

The app uses Google AdMob to show ads. Google AdMob may collect or use device information, app information, advertising identifiers, IP address, and related ad delivery data according to Google's policies. Google UMP and AdMob handle personalized, non-personalized, or limited ads based on the user's consent result.

6. User Control

Users can control their data by:

• Removing granted camera, phone, notification, or notification listener permissions from device settings
• Turning off call alerts, combined SMS and notification alerts, or status notifications inside the app
• Clearing the app's local storage by uninstalling the app or clearing app data from device settings

7. Children's Privacy

Flash Alerts is a general-purpose utility app and is not directed specifically to children.

The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Security

Reasonable care is taken to keep app data limited to what is required for the app's functionality. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

9. Changes To This Privacy Policy

This privacy policy may be updated from time to time to reflect feature changes, legal requirements, or release updates.

If the policy changes, the updated version should be published at the production privacy policy URL before or together with the related app release.
