App: QR Barcode ScanMaster

QR Barcode ScanMaster respects user privacy. This app is designed to scan QR codes and barcodes, generate QR codes, and manage saved results directly on the user's device.

1. Information We Access

The app may request access to:

• Camera access, to scan QR codes and barcodes in real time
• Photo library or media access, to allow users to select images for scan-from-image functionality and save generated or scanned QR images to the device gallery
• Clipboard access, when users choose to create a QR code from clipboard text or copy QR data

2. Information We Store

The app may store the following information locally on the user's device:

• Scan history, favorite items, and user-edited titles for saved entries
• QR or barcode content that users scan, create, copy, share, or save, which may include text, links, contact details, WiFi details, location QR data, calendar data, UPI QR data, or other user-provided QR content
• Generated or scanned QR image references used for history, sharing, or saving features
• App theme, appearance, and accent color preferences
• Ad-related state, such as the ad-hidden end time and ad trigger counts, to keep the ad experience consistent after restarting the app

This information is stored locally to support app functionality and personalization.

3. Information We Do Not Collect

At the current stage of the app, QR Barcode ScanMaster does not require account creation and does not intentionally collect personal information on a server, such as:

• Name
• Email address
• Phone number
• Precise location
• Payment information

The app does not access the device's GPS location. If users scan or create QR codes that contain location text or map links, that QR content may be stored locally in history or favorites.

The app is not designed as a social platform and does not provide public posting, public profiles, or public user content sharing.

4. How Data Is Used

Any locally stored data is used only to provide app features, including:

• Showing saved scan and QR generation history
• Marking items as favorites
• Restoring app settings and personalization choices
• Allowing users to view and manage previously saved content
• Showing ads and maintaining ad frequency, rewarded ad timing, and temporary ad-hidden periods

5. Data Sharing

QR Barcode ScanMaster does not sell user data.

The app does not intentionally share personal data with third parties except where required to support core platform behavior or app functionality, such as:

• Operating system permission handling
• User-initiated sharing actions using installed device apps
• Advertising services provided by Google AdMob

The app uses Google AdMob to show ads. Google AdMob may collect or use device information, app information, advertising identifiers, IP address, and related ad delivery data according to Google's policies. Google UMP and AdMob handle personalized, non-personalized, or limited ads based on the user's consent result.

6. User Control

Users can control their data by:

• Deleting saved entries inside the app and saved QR images from device storage, where supported
• Clearing the app's local storage by uninstalling the app or clearing app data from device settings
• Denying camera or media permissions, with the understanding that related features may not work

7. Children's Privacy

QR Barcode ScanMaster is a general-purpose utility app and is not directed specifically to children.

The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Security

Reasonable care is taken to keep app data limited to what is required for the app's functionality. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

9. Changes To This Privacy Policy

This privacy policy may be updated from time to time to reflect feature changes, legal requirements, or release updates.
